Looking to develop speaking and leadership skills?
Ace a job interview? Ignite your career?
The world needs leaders. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate. By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program.

Mission
The mission of Toastmasters Glyfada is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Description
At Toastmasters participants get the skills and confidence to express themselves effectively in any situation and overcome their public speaking anxiety by giving and receiving constructive feedback and becoming better listeners.
How does it work?
A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.
There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.
Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure.
Members learn communication skills by working in the Competent Communication manual, a series of 10 self-paced speaking assignments designed to instil a basic foundation in public speaking.
Toastmasters has no teachers nor instructors. There are only people like you who improve their skills through practice in a friendly, fun and supportive environment. We foster this environment together by helping each other.
